Relationship Infrastructureâ„¢
Seven Principles
The Relationship Infrastructure helps you use time-tested principles in all your commitments, and receive Relationship Capital for completing them. ACCOUNTABILITY: "I am answerable for the consequences of my choices." Use this principle to consider the effects of your actions when you engage in a commitment. BOUNDARIES: "I impose limitations to indicate what is permissible within my value system." Use this principle to demonstrate what you will accept and not accept when you engage in a commitment. HONESTY: "I communicate and act truthfully with myself, or with another." Use this principle to state the course of action you intend to follow, and all pertinent information, when you engage in a commitment. RESPECT: "I experience a positive feeling of esteem for myself, or for another." Use this principle to hold yourself, and the other person, in high regard when you engage in a commitment. RESPONSIBILITY: "I recognize that my actions are the source or cause of outcomes." Use this principle to engage in a commitment without relying on guidance or superior authority. SUPPORT: "I give help, moral or psychological assistance, or advocacy, to myself or to another." Use this principle to help yourself, and the other person, when you engage in a commitment. TRUST: "I have a confident expectation of my reliability, or of the reliability of another." Use this principle to rely on yourself, and on the other person, when you engage in a commitment.
