RC... JARGON FREE...

Like any measurement system, Relationship Capital has its share of technical terms. This page removes all the jargon (except for "RC".)

RC means Relationship Capital. It's a measurement assigned to individual and organizational entities based on the relationship interactions between them, and the interactions they have internally.

RC measures interactions between people, places and things. In effect, RC keeps score of the "good behavior" of anything in relationship to anything else.

RC uses three interaction types. Commitment, perception and reflection.

RC measures commitments made by people, places and things. A commitment is a promise to do something, complete a task or follow a rule. Keep commitments, earn RC. Break commitments; lose RC. It's that simple.

RC measures perceptions that people have of other people, and of places and things. You earn RC if someone likes you, your product or your business.

RC measures reflection. If you're connected to great people, their RC reflects on you; if you work for a great company and sell a great product, your company's and product's RC also reflects on you.

RC uses points to keep score. You earn points by keeping commitments and by gathering positive perceptions, and you're credited with points as a result of reflection.

RC keeps points in accounts. Every person, place and thing gets an ultra-secure account. Holders can show or hide as much detail as they like, to whoever they want.

RC is structured like a game. The rules are simple, and it's fun for young people who want bragging rights to the most points. For businesses, RC adds a game-like dimension to the pursuit of excellence.

RC is a learning system. Built-in learning lets you select optimum commitments for every situation, and helps you improve people's perceptions of you, your company and your products. Plus, you learn how to earn the most RC in everything you do.

RC connects everybody and everything. You can't measure the relationships between every person, place and thing unless they are all on the same page information-wise. RC introduces an infrastructure of hardware and software that creates seamless connectivity.

RC gives companies a new measure of success. It helps demonstrate the value of the relationships that are rapidly transforming their businesses. Not just between people, but also between business units, jobs, products and assets.

RC means excellence. By rewarding the good behavior of people and businesses, RC gives everyone a reason to strive to be the best with every action taken. It's a chance to show how great you, your company, and your products truly are.

RC is on its way. Our members are collaborating in RNIA to deliver a complete ecosystem so that everyone, everywhere can begin earning RC.
